 Hola amigos!}I finally made it to peru after getting all the way to the airport last wednesday for my flight to be cancelled because of the weather. So i stayed home for 4 more days with the fam and then flew out Sunday. I got to peru at 3:30 am on monday morning and was thrown right into it. I missed 4 days of spanish class so its freaking crazy, my brain feels like its going to explode. But i do love it here at the CCM it is soooo beautiful, they food is great and i sleep so good at night because i am so exhausted. 

I am in a trio with Hermana Lefler and Hermana Johnson! Fun fact, hermana Lefler is engaged and wears her wedding ring out here in peru! pretty crazy, love her so much.
Some fun things about peru is that you cannot flush the toilet paper here, it cloggs the toilets and causes serious issues, so I have been a master thanks to the lakepowell toilets. Also we have the coolest exercise area, a huge soccer field, volleyball court and basketball court. I feel right at home!
I have loved my classes here at the CCM all the teachers are so kind and are so patient with my spanish. One thing i have learned these past 2 days was our missionary purpose in spanish. The first full day was really hard i was really discouraged but the next morning in my class we had a lesson on my favorite scripture D and C 18:10, Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God. After hearing this lesson i felt way better and knew that my Heavenly Father is always looking out for me. 
i am so thankful i get to be here at the CCM and love being around disciples of Christ. Yesterday we all watched a devotional given by President Nelson. and he talked about true conversion, we can always be trying to convert ourselves to Jesus Christ!! so cool how we can every day try to come closer to him. Then President Nelsons sweet wife wendy got up and talked about how the church is not a utah based church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is based in heaven!!

Hola everyone!!! This week was pretty long, lots of visits which means we got lost a lot!! You would think my comp would know how to get around but she is absolutely terrible at directions haha its pretty funny, cuz I thought I never knew where I was going but she doesn't know either. We got lost one night and we were going in the opposite direction, sometimes people don't understand what I'm saying OR I dont understand what other people are saying, and other times we are late to every visit and I'm so Hungry, but in moments like this you just gotta laugh. Laughing helps, I laugh a lot out here in Perú.  This week we had a mission activity at the mission home with everyone. Day of sports!! We played Ping pong, soccer, volley Ball and had Lunch. It was sooooo fun. It's always fun to watch all the faces of the latinos when I walk out to play soccer with them. Hola everyone!!! So i have been in the field in Perú for about 3 weeks now and ive got 2 things to say, spanish is so hard and i love Perú. I get a lot of looks, a tall White girl trying to get from one place to another with perú's crazy transportation. There are definietly harder days than others. I wake up sometimes and feel Like satan is slapping me in the Face a little reminding me that i dont Know spanish, but something i realized yesterday While reading in alma 37:33 is that we can withstand anything satan throws at us with faith in Jesús Christ!! I am so glad i am on his team and He is on mine.  I know my Savior is a light in the darkness, miracle worker, promise keeper and his team Will Win every time over anything!! My penchinista is my favorite human ever, mamá Gloria. She is Just out here making me rice and chicken every day, oh and she talks a million Words per second so i cant understand her but she still gives me a huge hug and a Kiss everytime i see her. 😘 Right now...

Hola everyone!!! i hope everyone had a great week! This week we were so lucky to have some amazing devotionals from my mtc president and his wife, they are thee coolest people in this whole world. I love them so much.  One devotional we had from them was the power of NEVERTHELESS! in the scriptures we see people go through hard times and struggle but nevertheless they knew the lord was with them and would bless them, nevertheless they pressed forward with faith! this helped me so much because there are times out here where i get down and things are really hard but nevertheless Jesus is on my side! Now for my favorite part of the week! Boom, devotional from presidente Jackson, he related the missionary alma the younger and amulek to basketball wahoo!
