Team Jesus

Hola everyone!!!

So i have been in the field in Perú for about 3 weeks now and ive got 2 things to say, spanish is so hard and i love Perú. I get a lot of looks, a tall White girl trying to get from one place to another with perú's crazy transportation.

There are definietly harder days than others. I wake up sometimes and feel Like satan is slapping me in the Face a little reminding me that i dont Know spanish, but something i realized yesterday While reading in alma 37:33 is that we can withstand anything satan throws at us with faith in Jesús Christ!! I am so glad i am on his team and He is on mine. 

I know my Savior is a light in the darkness, miracle worker, promise keeper and his team Will Win every time over anything!!

My penchinista is my favorite human ever, mamá Gloria. She is Just out here making me rice and chicken every day, oh and she talks a million Words per second so i cant understand her but she still gives me a huge hug and a Kiss everytime i see her. 😘

Right now we are teaching a 14 year old girl named maria, and she is getting baptized in 2 weeks!! When we asked her if she wanted to be baptized, she said yes and her grandma, who is a memeber, Just starts crying. She Was so happy for maria and gave us a big Hug. Ive had a lot of happy moments in my life but this is definetly up there. 

I got a New companion, hermana ramirez!! I literally love her so much. She speaks zero english but I think we might be soulmates, because The very first thing she did when we got back to our apartment Was turn on some music and clean! Wahoo shes amazing and loves to Take pictures of our Food with our tags lol
